Metal & fineness
The type of metal and its fineness — for example 9ct, 18ct or 22ct gold — strongly influence value.

You do not need to live in the West Midlands to use Premium Gold Buyers. Request a postal pack online from anywhere in the UK, send your unwanted gold using the agreed method, receive a professional assessment and review your offer before deciding.
Nationwide postal gold buying
Customers in England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland can start online or by phone. We confirm the arrangements before you send valuable items.
Complete the online enquiry with your contact details and a description of the gold you are considering selling.
We contact you to confirm eligibility, the postal arrangements and the terms that apply before you send anything.
Pack your items carefully, keep your own photographs and records, and use only the postal method agreed with you.
After receipt, your items are assessed for metal type, fineness and weight. Any earlier indication is not a binding offer.
You choose whether to accept. If accepted, payment is made by bank transfer or cheque as agreed and under the applicable terms.
If you do not accept the offer, your items are returned according to the return method, cost and timing confirmed with you.
Who can enquire
The nationwide postal route is available for enquiries from England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. Eligibility and the sending method are confirmed with you before you post anything.
Customers in the Republic of Ireland are welcome to contact us to discuss postal arrangements and eligibility. The Republic of Ireland is outside the UK, so we do not promise that every enquiry can proceed.
Our postal service reaches customers across the UK. Collection is a separate service and depends on your postcode, your items and availability; it is not described as nationwide.

What we buy
Whether it is a single earring, a broken chain or a drawer of pieces you no longer wear, you are welcome to enquire.
Not every item can be bought. Whether we can make an offer depends on assessment of the metal, its fineness and weight, and the applicable terms.
Transparency
There are no headline rates or guarantees here. A valuation depends on what your items are made of, how much they weigh and what assessment shows. You stay in control: nothing is sold until you have reviewed the offer and chosen to accept it.
The type of metal and its fineness — for example 9ct, 18ct or 22ct gold — strongly influence value.
The weight of precious metal in an item is a key part of how any offer is calculated.
Each item is examined individually. Stones, fittings and non-gold parts are taken into account.
You receive an offer to consider. Please review it, and the applicable terms, before agreeing to sell.
Important guidance
Photograph each item and keep a written list of what you are sending, including any marks you can see.
Only send or hand over items using the postal or collection method confirmed with you for your enquiry.
Do not include cash, and avoid enclosing unnecessary personal documents or information.
Make sure you have reviewed the applicable terms, including returns and payment, before sending valuable items.
Unsure about anything? Call 07960 148124 before you send.
What is my gold worth?
Describe your items and add photos if you have them. We will come back to you to discuss the next step — an offer is only made after assessment.
